Special Session 12
SUSTAINABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES AND APPLICATIONS (SS12)
The energy sector is evolving to meet growing demands for efficiency, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. Advances in sustainable energy technologies and conventional oil and gas systems rely on innovative methods, materials, and processes to improve performance, reduce emissions, and optimize resource utilization.
This special session welcomes analytical, computational, and experimental research related to sustainable energy and energy-related process technologies. Topics of interest include hydrogen production and storage, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), renewable energy systems, energy storage technologies, enhanced oil recovery, separation processes, advanced materials, and process optimization. The session aims to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration among researchers and industry practitioners working toward innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
